Ground Floor

A self contained ‘apartment’ with a bedroom, bathroom, salon, kitchen area and internal courtyard.

First Floor

The first floor consists of:

Double 'blue' bedroom:
en suite bathroom and access to a small internal terrace. Closet, hanging rails, mirror and bedside table. There is a mosquito net over the bed, if needed, for added protection in mid-summer!

Bathroom: shower, toilet, basin, towel rails, mirror and window.

Twin 'orange' bedroom: two single beds, each with mosquito nets. Window onto the terrace with net and a rolling shutter. A mirror, shelves, hanging hooks, a chair, drawers and little fruit crates on the wall for storage.

Shower room and toilet

Single ‘green’ bedroom:
comfortable single bed, plus an extra new mattress and a baby travel cot. Small chair and hanging hooks.

Landing: door onto the front balcony, which features a table and chairs, looking out across the village and the hermitage. Desk and a shelf stocked with Spanish-themed history books, novels and short stories.

All beds will be made with fresh sheets. Towels are provided for each of the bedrooms (but not beach towels).

Attic (Atico)

When we bought the house, the attic (mezzanine alto) was a massive storage space for olives and fruit with a terraza for hanging clothes to dry. We have turned it into a living space and expanded the terrace to make it a sunny space to sit and relax with breathtaking views across the lowlands along the river (Baixes Ebro) up to the mountains and highlands (Terra Alta). There is a dining table with 6 chairs and a picture window out over the village. Seating for the terrace includes deck chairs and a built-in L-shaped sofa. Recline and enjoy long, relaxing days reading, thinking and chatting! The kitchen is fully equipped with a large, American upright fridge/freezer, oven and washing machine. Hot water on tap. All crockery, glasses, cutlery and utensils are provided for cooking up a feast from the local produce, or just to chill with a beer or wine and a platter of jam on serrano. The local drink is vermouth and squeezed fresh oranges/clementines. Delicious and refreshing! That will be waiting for you when you arrive to get your holiday started!

Board games, cards, music and all sorts of books for you to dip into and enjoy. A folder full of leaflets, maps and things to do in the area so you can plan your days out. There is no TV but internet connection via 3G is available. There currently isn’t air con and it does get stifling in July and August. There are electric fans and nets to protect from midges in bed. Citronella candles also on terrace do the job.
